Shangri-La
Shangri-La is actually a name of a place in one very famous novel written by James Hilton entitled the Last Horizon years and years ago. And this name is also synonymous to Eden or paradise. For some people the name Shangri-La refers to a place that is superlatively happy and peaceful. But these days when one hears the word Shangri-la you only think of one thing and that is luxury hotel.
Nowadays, there are a lot of Shangri-la hotels all over the world. In fact, there are a couple of Shangri-la hotels in the Philippines, also one in Singapore, in Nepal, in China and more.
